    RESEARCH

My research interests are in low-dimensional topology and geometric topology (in dimensions 2 and 3), particularly mapping class groups and group actions on surfaces. Currently, my research centers around completely understanding and classifying the roots and fractional powers of Dehn twists about separating and nonseparating curves.
